Welcome to the 2013 Season.  KBYC is hosting the first two LSIS races of the season on June 1 and 2, 2013 at the City of Barrie Marina.  

 

The Saturday Race (skippers meeting at 10:00 am) will be a long distance races down the Bay and around Long Shoal, while the Sunday Race (meeting at 9:00 am) will be short distance around the KBYC Race Markers.

 

Breakfast will be provided by KBYC each morning at 8:00 am at a cost of $5.00 per person.

 

Cost for the races is $5.00 each or $40.00 for the season. All skippers/owners will be required to sign a LSIS waiver and Racing Agreement form.

 

Every boat participating must be in possession of a valid 2013 PHRF-LO certicifate.  See your local club regatta chairperson to renew your certificate or to be issued a new one.  There is a new foot measurement required for spinnakers this year, so if your are planning to enter the Flying Sail Division, please have your spinnaker measured and your certificate updated, prior to June 1.  Those with no changes to sails or configuration who are registered through LSYA may renew their certificates when they register for race.  

 

KBYC members must renew their certificates through me or one of our other handicapers (Clive Oosthuizen or Shaun O'Flynn).
