Racing

KBYC's racing program runs from June to October.  It is open to skippers and crew of all levels, from beginner to experienced. Racing is a great way to learn sail trimming and tactical sailing. Sometimes you wonder how some boats get to the destination much faster than you. If you are thinking about racing, but feel you need more experience, simply meet at the Lakeshore docks prior to the race and board one of our Club Members' boat as crew to race with a seasoned skipper.  If you don't have a boat and would like to learn how to sail, simply let us know so you can give it a try.  After the race our group goes to Doc Melones for their great wings and drinks.
